Our Concept Team of suppliers, trades and customers raised $30,500 for Kids with Cancer Society at our charity golf event!!!! Charity golf tournament raised $28,500!
Thanks to the 35 sponsors, 30 volunteeers and 170 golfers who participated in our recent golf, dinner and auction event. This 9th annual tournament took place on September 4, 2014 at the Sturgeon Valley Golf Course. Concept’s trades, suppliers, staff and customers hosted this Concept Homes Golf Classic. They raised $28,500 for the Edmonton Fire Fighters Burn Treatment Society. Over the past eight years, this golf tournament has raised a total of $184,575 for local charities.

Concept® Homes 8th Annual Charity Golf Tournament raised $22,500 for for Edmonton Fire Fighter Burn Treatment Society. This event took place at Sturgeon Valley Golf Course on Thursday, September 5, 2013. Thanks to the 150 golfers, 32 sponsors and 35 volunteers who worked hard to raise money for the burn society. Over the past eight years, this golf tournament has raised a total of $156,075 for local local charities.

Concept constructs Gazebo for Legacy Pointe
On February 21, 2013 Concept Homes assembled the new gazebo in the Legacy Pointe park. Thank you to the crew at Heavenly Gates for their help in constructing this special outdoor feature. This summer this park will be a special gathering place for the residents of Legacy Pointe.

Concept Homes opened the 2013 STARS Lottery Home on January 16, 2013. The Grand Opening event was attended by 75 politicians, media, Concept staff, trades, suppliers and STARS representatives. Member of Parliament Brent Rathgeber and City of St. Albert Councillor Len Bracko spoke at the launch ceremony. STARS patient, Alea Cox, also spoke; she recounted her car accident and how STARS saved her life. You are welcome to tour this 2776 square foot two-storey home at 57 Lacombe Drive in St. Albert.

Concept’s team of trades, suppliers, staff and customers raised $27,750 for Make-A-Wish on September 6, 2012 at the Concept® Homes golf tournament. This seventh annual event at the Sturgeon Valley Golf Course included a golf game, banquet and auction. To date this golf event has raised a total of $133,575 for local charities.

On Wednesday, October 12, 2011 Concept® Homes hosted the Legacy Pointe Military Family Reception from 3 to 8 pm. Attendees enjoyed complimentary food, drinks, prizes and family fun. Concept® Homes gives $23,000 cheque to Make-A-Wish
On behalf of the 34 sponsors, 151 golfers and 37 volunteers at the Concept® Homes golf tournament, Concept® Homes presented a cheque for $23,000 for the kids at Make-A-Wish Foundation on September 24, 2011. On September 8, 2011, fun was had by all at the Sturgeon Valley Golf Course. The event included a Texas Scramble golf game, a banquet, a silent auction and a live auction. Concept® Homes building 2012 STARS home
Concept® Homes is very proud to be selected as the STARS Air Ambulance lottery home builder for the fourth consecutive year. Concept® Homes began planning this home in the spring and dug the basement early summer. Mission Building doubles their donation
In July Mission Building announced their GOLD sponsporship of the Concept® Homes charity golf tournament. This year they will double their donation: instead of giving $10 for every birdie and $100 for every eagle to the charity, they will donate $20 for every birdie and $200 for every eagle!! All the donated money will be going directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northern Alberta.

Every year Concept® Homes wins an award at the Fort Saskatchewan Santa Clause and Canada Day Parades, and this year is no exception. On Friday, March 27, 2009, STARS Air Ambulance drew the winner of the Edmonton lottery home. Lorraine Mansbridge of Global TV phoned a grandmother from Edmonton to tell her the good news. The television broadcast took place at the Concept® home in Castlebrook Meadows. There were over 3,000 prizes awarded, and there were over 100,000 people who purchased over 800,000 tickets. Thank you to all that participated in building and promoting this lottery home.

Concept® Homes celebrates Xmas the Aussie way
On November 29, 2008 Concept® staff built and rode on an Australian Christmas Float in the Fort Saskatchewan Santa Claus Parade. Dressed as Ralph Harris, Concept®'s Les Paull steered his sleigh pulled by kangaroos along the parade route. Other staff members entertained the crowd by singing, "Six white boomers, snow white boomers, Racing Santa Claus through the blazing sun". This float won second place for best float in the Fort Saskatchwan Santa Claus parade.

Staff decorated and participated in the Fort Saskatchewan Santa Claus Parade on Saturday November 24, 2007. Elvis played guitar, Brenda Lee sang Christmas Karaoke music, and Concept Homes' Dinosaur Mascot played keyboard. Fun was had by all on a very chilly day!

Concept houses six homeless families
Concept Homes homelessness for On October 31, 2007, Concept Homes in conjunction with the Umisk Affodable Housing Society will give six sets of keys to six large Aboriginal families. This long-term supportive housing complex, Nellie Nome Manor, are located at 118 Avenue and 59 Street in Edmonton. There are now 40 more adults and children that have an address to live at and a place to call home.

On May 9, 2007 Concept Homes sponsored the Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce breakfast. Concept Homes has been a member of the Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce ever since they started building homes in the city in the late 90s. The staff of Concept Homes was at the Fort Saskatchewan Trade Fair on April 20-22, 2007 and at the Sherwood Park/Strathcona County Trade Fair on April 13-15, 2007. They enjoyed visiting with past, present and future customers at the Concept Homes booth.

Concept raised $10,000 for charity! Concept Homes hosted a fun tournament at Sturgeon Valley Golf and Country Club on Friday, September 8, 2006. 80 companies and 106 golfers participated in this successful event, which in one day raised $10,000 for the Sign of Hope! charity.

Concept houses 16 homeless families
The week of Monday, July 31, 2006, Concept Homes in conjunction with the Umisk and Amisk Affodable Housing Societies gave keys to 16 under-privileged families. Concept's team of skilled trades, suppliers and staff built two homeless housing complexes. At 11711 - 101 Street and at 11715 - 101 Street in Edmonton, Alberta. 16 families now have an address to live and a place to call home.

On Saturday, July 1, 2006 Concept Homes' comedy troupe participated in the Fort Saskatchewan Canada Day Parade for the sixth consecutive year. Their float and antics depicting a family in need of a 'new on sweet' drew huge laughs from the crowd.

Concept Homes hosts block party
On Thursday, June 22, 2006 Concept Homes staff hosted a successful community block party. This party was put on for the residents of Castle Point, a cul-de-sac in Castlebrook Meadows. The residents enjoyed good food, fun activities, and meeting their new neighbours. Concept staff organized hors d'eurves, beef on a bun, desserts, cold drinks, tents, music and lawn games. Fun was had by community members of all ages.

Concept builds playhouses for charity
Concept Homes staff volunteer to build playhouses for charity. Concept raffles a playhouse each year and gives all the proceeds to the Fort Saskatchewan Historical Society. They often used the playhouse as the centrepiece of their parade floats; see photos below.
